Parenting

Courage

"I've said it a thousand times
and I'll say it again:
There is no job more important
than that of being a good parent.
None."

          - Oprah Winfrey

While parenting is indeed the most important job any of us will ever have, it may also rank as the most difficult, enjoyable, challenging, rewarding and frustrating one.  From diapers to diplomas, children bring us our greatest joys and deepest concerns.  But no parent has to face the job alone.  When you talk with other parents, you discover you share many of the same concerns and questions, and you appreciate each other's advice and support.

Parents are role models, teachers and disciplinarians as well as guides for their children.  As a parent, you influence the choices your child makes.  You can provide the positive examples, guidance, clear rules and love necessary to help your child grow into a healthy individual.
