About Stimulants

Some prescribed stimulants are vital to patients' wellbeing for things like ADHD treatment.   But whether they are prescription or illicit, when stimulants are taken for a high, they give a user a feeling of exhilaration, energy and increased mental alertness.  They also cause rapid or irregular heart beat, reduced appetite, weight loss, heart failure, nervousness and insomnia.  Some symptoms of stimulant use include restlessness, dilated pupils, talkativeness, euphoria, and a short term high followed by depression.
