About SFPCN

In 1994, parents joined together in a grassroots effort to form the PCN. The non-profit corporation works with many groups to promote parent education, support and information.  It serves as a community resource for all families in the area.

Through the PCN, you can find information about counseling services, parenting tips, ideas on working with your children's schools and support from other parents.  You'll also discover opportunities and information to help you with the important job of parenting.

The PCN office and Board of Directors work to promote positive parenting by sponsoring activities and producing resources to help parents understand the complicated world our children navigate every day.  They are available to assist your school in planning events, bringing in speakers and locating resources for you and your school.

Each month, our school newsletters and the KLRN-TV program "Spotlight" focuses on a topic that impacts children and parents.  If you have a suggestion for a future topic, please let us know.

The Parent Communication Network Board gratefully acknowledges the annual support we receive from the Sioux Falls City Council and the Sioux Falls School District Drug Advisory Council.
