About Hallucinogens

LSD and other hallucinogens have no medicinal value.  There are a number of severe restrictions on their legal manufacturing and storage, and are legally available only for approved research.  Users seek an altered state of perception and feeling from abusing these drugs.  They may also end up with a wide variety of frightening or life-threatening side effects.  One of the most common is persisting perception disorder - flashbacks.  Other signs and symptoms of use include dilated pupils, disorientation, mood swings and nausea.

Some of the paraphernalia associated with the use of hallucinogens include blotter papers, window panes, and tin foil.
